Really love the idea of you sitting outside, cold but wrapped up and feeling the sun on your face. Lovely.

Bley, most days here have been very grey, it was a rare moment the other day with the sun shining.

Anna, I was rereading For The Children's Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, a very good book on educating children.

I'm the same. Growing up in Texas I'm a little of a wuss for being outside in the cold winter weather. But we get such a great sunshine here that I've been able to spend a little time outside here and there soaking it in. And just like you, after each time outside I think, "Boy, we need to get out more on these warmer winter days!" In fact, I think I'll take the boys over to the playground when they wake up.

Great news on your van! Isn't it nice to have a resourceful husband and find ways to fix things less expensively?! I know I'm thankful for my husband doing things like that all of the time.

Enjoy your weekend!

Aaah I still remember so vividly the first teasing rays of sun before spring when I still lived in Europe. Do try to go out and enjoy them, even only for 15-20 minutes a day. It's such a different feel to them compared to summer rays.

Squinting my eyes trying to see what you're reading... :o)

Good to hear about tooth and van.

Glad to hear everything is going well at your house! Your pictures are always so full of sunshine, it makes me jealous because of our gray wintry days here in Ohio.

Getting out for some sun is so mood enhancing, and to get chance to read is a great bonus!
When I was a child and wore braces there weren't any snazzy colours, just plain silver metal. Pink bands sound fun!

Braces always seem to need to stay on longer than the orthodontist predicts--so frustrating! K x

Good news about the van! I bet March 29th is here before you know it too.

I've been getting some short outdoor times recently as Snow White is desperate to practice walking in the big wide world. It takes a l-o-n-g time to go out of the back door, along the path and round to the front door! She wants to pick up every piece of stone and touch every hedge. It's lovely to get out and breathe the air, even when it's cold or drizzly.
