Biscuits are our favorite - not good for the waist line but very delicious! Like the look of the granola - I 'll try it when our current box runs out :)

I'm all for sanity savers! I love making granola too. I store mine in the freezer to keep it crunchy. On Saturdays I usually boil half a dozen eggs (great for quick lunches during the week); cut up some carrot sticks and celery sticks (also for lunches but also good for chopping into salads) and a batch of hummus. Lately I've been pulling out the slow cooker on my crazy days. This week I made Spicy Sly Glazed Short Ribs (recipe on Cookstr and Recipezaar). I love to make big batches of soup and put some in the freezer. And bread! I love quick breads: banana bread, pumpkin bread, zucchini bread....mmmm

Great recipe - might have to try it. I don' t make anything regularly - only passata or something like it if we have a glut of tomatoes. I seem to be always trying new recipes - my family doesn't have any particular favourites - luckily they just seem to like whatever I put on the table!!

Love making huge batch of casserole. Love baking too but our oven is currently dead. Not getting new one until we re-do the kitchen.

I've never seen a recipe for this before (think I must lead a sheltered life). Thank you. I am going to try it and will make two batches - one a bit sweeter for me, and one less so for my puritanical partner!
Love Charlotte
