Anna, yes, they are real, wild, westerny bison A lot of people call bison buffalo, though technically buffalo are native to Asia and Africa. Most people call them buffalo here though too. They were making a run for the hill, so it was hard to get a good photo. I’ve been hoping to catch them by the road when they are really close up.

Hello, just found you, beautiful photos. Only read back a little way, looking forward to reading more of your previous posts.
By the way, I’m a left hander too, my first school teacher used to make me write with my right hand and rapped my knuckles with a ruler if I tried to write with the left. It wasn’t “normal”. After my father marched to school and saw the headmaster I was allowed to use my left hand but she still told me I wasn’t “normal”. Perhaps she was right!
