What a great idea, I try to reuse the plastic bags but they are still a waste.

What a fantastic idea. I have a pile of cloth shopping bags, but I just reuse the plastic bags for the fruit and veggies over and over, the cheese cloth is a very fresh idea. I suppose it's so light too that it doesn't weigh any extra. Thanks for sharing.

Loving it. Realise now that I always feel so wasteful in the store when putting all my fresh (and ORGANIC) stuff in plastic bags but always have forgotten by the time I come home. I even at times just carry my capsicums and apples and what-nots as they are and let the girl at the register collect them on the scale. Probably doesn't make the most favored customer, hehehe.

This is a great idea Jennifer!

Cheesecloth sounds perfect! I was reading about someone making these from an old mosquito net and having terrible trouble getting it to go through the sewing machine! I have some purchased reusable produce bags, but if they ever wear out or I need more then I think cheesecloth will be the way to go!
